These moves might have to do with institutional investors or big-time Solana investors trying to lock in gains or realign their holdings ahead of potential market shifts.

According to the most recent data, Solana is up 1.14% over the past day at $97.90 in trade.

In the same year, Solana's transaction volume climbed dramatically as well, totaling $1,502,291,564, an increase of 18.26%. The market is exhibiting signals of volatility and investor interest is rising at the same time as this heightened activity and price fluctuation.

This interest is further piqued by liquidity statistics released by CoinGlass, a website that offers data on cryptocurrency futures and spot markets.

Solana liquidated $6.13 million in the last 24 hours; $4.33 million came from long bets and the rest $1.79 million came from short positions.
