January 17, 2019 (Reuters) - On Wednesday, there were flight disruptions for the fourth day in a row due to a cold wave that brought thick fog to portions of northern India this week. Over 100 flights were delayed, and approximately 20 had to be canceled.
The capital and most populous state of Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, will see minimum temperatures on Tuesday ranging from 2 to 5 degrees Celsius (35.6 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit), according to weather officials, who also predict five more days of fog.
According to Flightradar24, up to 109 flights from Delhi's airport were canceled and delayed
This week, the fog's low visibility has resulted in significant air traffic congestion, with hundreds of flights out of New Delhi being delayed or canceled.
