Feb. 5, Reuters India's High Commissioner to Canada stated in an interview with the Globe & Mail newspaper that India will not give information to Canadian investigators on the killing of a Sikh separatist leader until Canada gives proof, opens new tab published on Monday.
"To assist the Canadian authorities, we require precise and pertinent proof," High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma stated to the Globe & Mail a week ago.
“We would find it very difficult to assist the Canadian authorities unless we see something specific and relevant.”
