Pundit Gives Three Arguments for Still Believing in XRP

Feb 05 Tech Standard

Holders are becoming frustrated as XRP is quickly becoming known for performing unsavourily when compared to its competitors. Nevertheless, pro-XRP cryptocurrency influencer Zach Rector recently expressed his undying optimism about XRP in spite of the persistent skepticism around the digital currency.

Rector specifically listed three strong arguments for his continued optimism over XRP's future course.

First, Rector reaffirmed XRP's distinct status as the only digital asset with complete legal clarity in the United States.

Remember that the U.S. judge overseeing the litigation against Ripple Labs declared in July of last year that XRP is not a securities by nature.

In the end, the ruling released XRP from regulatory restrictions by effectively weakening the previous claim made by the US regulators. No other cryptocurrency project has obtained a similar declaration from the US government to far.

Staking of Liquidity Entering the XRP Ecosystem

Second, Rector emphasized the latest advancements in the XRP ecosystem, including the incorporation of DeFi (decentralized finance) features.

He declared, "DeFi is finally joining the XRP Ledger ecosystem."

He recalled how, over time, rival projects that incorporated DeFi features had prospered; now, it is XRP's turn.

Rector stated that a major milestone has been reached with the recent ratification of the Automated Market Maker (AMM) modification, which brought DeFi capabilities to XRP.

In particular, he said that it essentially broadens the use of XRP beyond quick, affordable, and effective payments.

With XRP, Ripple is aiming for the US market

Thirdly, Rector said that XRP is the central component of the strategic connections that Ripple is forming with American partners. This perspective is based on Ripple's recent decision to adjust its business focus to include the US payment market.

According to The Crypto Basic, Ripple intends to introduce new product enhancements for the US market that are focused on its XRP-using Ripple Payments service.

According to the statement, 90% of Ripple's business was concentrated on serving clients abroad over a three-year period of comparatively quiet activity.
