Shiba Inu, Still a Puppy with Room to Grow, Says Shytoshi Kusama

Shiba Inu, Still a Puppy with Room to Grow, Says Shytoshi Kusama

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem, uses a playful analogy to describe the future of SHIB – a puppy. This suggests there's significant room for growth despite the token's already impressive achievements.

Kusama's inspiration came during a trip to Kyoto, Japan. There, he encountered a Maiko, a Geisha apprentice. The Maiko's stunning performance and dedication to her multi-year training journey resonated with Kusama. Despite being early in her apprenticeship, the Maiko has already garnered a level of celebrity status.

This encounter led Kusama to reflect on SHIB's own journey. While the token has achieved remarkable success, ranking among the top 10 crypto contenders, Kusama believes it's still a "puppy" with vast potential. He highlights the decentralized nature of Shiba Inu as a key factor in its growth, achieved with minimal marketing spend.

However, Kusama acknowledges the need to bridge the gap in understanding SHIB's history and values. To address this, he announced a global tour with the Shiba Inu team. The tour aims to connect with influential figures, from deal makers and celebrities to industry leaders and companies transitioning from Web2 to Web3.

"We've made significant progress in the past year," Kusama remarked. "This tour, alongside our robust Shib-themed technology stack, will demonstrate our commitment to the ShibArmy and the world."

The tour, which kicked off in Kyoto last week, will see the team visit three additional countries – India, Canada, and Thailand. This global outreach signifies Shiba Inu's dedication to building a strong community and shaping the future of Web3.
