Since its launch earlier this month, the video game Gas Hero by Web3 developer Find Satoshi Lab has produced around $90 million in NFT trading, the company stated in a statement.

"The company stated that there are six distinct Gas Hero NFT collections available, all of which are currently holding the top positions on trading volume charts. On Polygon PoS, players are actively trading a variety of characters, weapons, and other Gas Hero things as NFTs."

Based on data from CryptoSlam!, Gas Hero Common Heroes, their best-performing NFT collection, is currently the sixth most-traded collection over the last 24 hours.

Perhaps the most well-known product of Find Satoshi Lab is the fitness software Stepn, which has amassed millions of downloads and is enabled by blockchain technology. Stepn is a move-to-earn software that lets users buy digital sneaker NFTs, which they may use to "walk, jog, or run" in order to receive token rewards.

Find Satoshi Lab declared last July that it would give away more than 2 million GMT tokens (about $400,000 at the time) in a bid to promote Gas Hero and spark interest in its most recent project. The company announced on Wednesday that users that take part in "Gas Hero’s Gas Wars PvP battles" will receive an additional 14 million GMT that are currently "up for grabs."

Bullish on the new game, Polygon

Thus far, Polygon Labs seems happy with the outcomes. "Gas Hero's success demonstrates the current interest in web3 gaming," co-founder of Polygon Labs Sandeep Nailwal said in a statement. "The game’s wide appeal, as illustrated by such early success, is a positive sign of the trajectory our ecosystem is heading in, as we witness a new type of gamer enter into the Web3 sphere."

Gas Hero presently has over 10,000 active users, according to Find Satoshi Labs. The company added that prospective gamers can play on PCs and mobile devices without having to download the game.
